Margaret Evans

Founder, AudioPortraits©

Since 2001, Margaret has been producing AudioPortraits© — customized audio stories for people and organizations inspired to chronicle and preserve their legacy.

Margaret’s passion for this work stems from her early journalism career when she was a reporter and creator of oral histories and documentaries for ABC Radio in Australia before switching to TV as a researcher and associate producer for 60 Minutes.

Then, happy happenstance prompted a move to the United States. Based in Boston since 1986, Margaret’s professional path has taken her from the Boston Globe and Special Olympics Massachusetts to Monitor Radio, GBH, WBUR, and MIT.

A longtime producer and editor with deep expertise in the NPR world, she’s also a former professional singer. Margaret is currently a member of several Boston-area choirs and tunes into her musical ear to create personalized AudioPortraits© experiences.

Now, her diverse life and career adventures have led Margaret to draw on her dedication and expertise to preserve your legacy, your AudioPortrait.
